Think events, exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, outdoor shows, concerts, festivals…. Then think technology – so what does that event need for the consumer (consumer or b2b customer) to have all they need in this world of smart phones, tablets and wifi (but of course it’s not as simple as just that). There’s cabling, infrastructure, devices, hardware, software, and that’s without the consideration of the logistics and the operational requirements. So, our client, a very clever bunch, provide the technology behind the event. That’s it, in a nutshell, but of course that’s complicated too.

We’re looking for an account director or business development manager (or a combination of the two) and those job titles are deliberately in lower case because we don’t want any big egos here! So if job title is hugely important, probably not the job for you (it’s a flat structure and everyone just does the job necessary to look after the client, hit the targets and get the job done).

You’ll be based in out of town offices, so you’ll need your own transport and a full driving licence.

 

This is a hybrid role for someone who can split -time between account management and business development. The business development side of the role requires someone who’s highly motivated to achieve with experience in business development. This will involve:

  • Developing new relationships within existing customers and potential new customers in order to win new business. You’ll need solid experience in creating a new business strategy, lead generation and pipeline development.
  • The ability to develop exceptional proposals to win new business.
  • The presentation skills and credibility to win new business during meetings with senior management teams.

In terms of the account manager side of the role, we’re looking for someone confident and experienced with a good knowledge of communications, including digital and print — preferably gained in an agency. This will involve:

We’re looking for a brilliant marketing account manager or senior account manager, to join a successful Bristol based agency. Our client can consider a senior account executive looking to step up, a mid-weight account manager or senior account manager.  Salary will be dependant on experience and level.

To be considered, you should have experience of juggling a number of healthcare accounts, ideally in an agency environment and a have a passion for branding.  You’ll be able to demonstrate skills in marshalling all aspects of a Client’s brand throughout the marketing mix.

Experience of working on healthcare, pharmaceutical, prescription or medical education is required.

Key responsibilities
• Day-to-day liaison with clients including weekly status calls and writing contact reports

• Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing details 
• Confident presentation skills to deliver insight (and creative thoughts) to clients and other key stakeholders
• Ability to review and understand clinical data and subsequent translation of that understanding into briefing. 
• Management of the approval process, proof-reading and quality control checks prior to release of materials
• An understanding of digital communication channels including CLM/CRM systems, websites, email and online advertising
• Working with the Account Director to develop marketing plans and assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
 
Skills required
• At least two years experience of working on ethical healthcare (prescription) brands is essential. 
• You will be educated to degree standard in life sciences or associated field. 
• A knowledge of pharmaceutical approvals systems and Codes of Conduct Is preferred.
• Experience of working with neurology products, especially Multiple Sclerosis drugs would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement digital marketing campaigns across a large range of channels including email, social, push notifications, display, Mobile Networks and PPC to generate App downloads and subscriptions
  • Create, implement and report on digital marketing campaigns across a wide range of channels including Email, Push Notifications, Facebook Ads, PPC, Affiliate and Mobile Networks to drive app downloads and in-app purchases
  • Execute and measure Content Marketing Strategy ensuring all commercial and customer metrics are delivered, providing key customer insights and learnings from ongoing analysis
  • Responsible for the end-to-end management of campaigns including research, design, implementation, reporting and analysis
  • Manage campaign budget to ensure spend is being used effectively across multiple channels and suggest new opportunities to test.
  • App subscriptions – devise and implement campaigns to drive IAP (in app purchases) and shell downloads with a focus on subscriptions
  • Use web, social and app analytics including Google Analytics, Facebook Power Editor/Ads Manager and AppsFlyer to optimise performance of channels
  • Use Photoshop to amend creative work for use across multiple channels

To be considered for the role of Digital Marketing Executive, you should be able have:

  • Ideally degree level or equivalent in marketing
  • Significant experience in digital marketing, with a proven successful track record in digital campaign management
  • Experience of digital/App customer journey analysis, and conversion optimisation
  • Experience of working with Email Service Providers, preferably Adestra and competent in building and launching email campaigns
  • Numerate and analytical, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and web analytics, specifically Google Analytics
  • Demonstrable experience of creating successful content marketing plans across several platforms
  • Experience in mining and selecting appropriate campaign data from a Customer database
