Supporting the conference producers and senior conference team, you’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, including delegate administration, logistics, operational duties and general admin and support services for the conference teams.
Some of the roles duties are listed below, so you can see you need a high level of organisation and superb administration skills.
1 Work with consultants to produce high-level programmes – issue call for papers and liaise with speakers.
2 Work with designers to produce attractive and effective brochures.
3 Work with consultants and data entry team to build targeted mailing lists.
4 Produce and deliver effective marketing campaign using email, postal mailings, social media etc.
5 Maximise sponsorship sales with support from Sales Manager where appropriate.
6 Drive delegate sales with support from telephone sales team.
7 Project manage event to ensure that key deadlines are met.
8 Oversee production and delivery of conference materials.
9 Liaise with hotel and other suppliers to ensure that events run smoothly and cost- effectively.
10 Administration of conference bookings and work with accounts department.
