Conference Organiser, Bristol, £20-26k

Great role for a b2b Conference Organiser, to work for a Bristol based company.

Experience of working in a science, manufacturing or engineering background would be useful but isn’t essential.

Main purpose of the job: To manage conference logistics, marketing and sales, ensuring the delivery of well-run, high-quality and profitable events that exceed the expectations of delegates, sponsors, exhibitors.
Main tasks of the job:
Work with consultants to produce high-level programmes – issue call for papers and liaise with speakers.
Work with designers to produce attractive and effective brochures.
Work with consultants and data entry team to build targeted mailing lists.
Produce and deliver effective marketing campaign using email, postal mailings, social media etc.
Maximise sponsorship sales with support from Sales Manager where appropriate.
Drive delegate sales with support from telephone sales team.
Project manage event to ensure that key deadlines are met.
Oversee production and delivery of conference materials.
Liaise with hotel and other suppliers to ensure that events run smoothly and cost- effectively.
Administration of conference bookings and work with accounts department.
Required/preferred qualifications:
We’re looking for some previous conference or b2b events experience.
Proven organisational skills
Strong sales and marketing abilities
Additional languages would be useful.
