We are looking for a highly skilled Artworker to join an amazing team of 20 at our clients fabulous design studio in Bristol

Supporting the design teams working across the entire client base, the role demands a positive attitude and a high level of versatility and flexibility, both in terms of the clients and the projects.

Projects vary from straightforward print and press artwork production, to complex 3D and POS, and our clients vary from B2B and B2C, the widest mix, so the work is varied in every respect.

Candidates should be experienced in the following areas, and will be required to discuss their experience and show examples of their work at interview stage.

Essential skills / areas of expertise

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including:

InDesign - layout, type setting, preflight and colour checks,
creating and populating style sheets

Illustrator - adapting graphics devices for multiple use,
working with charts, creating cutter guides, using colour
and pattern swatches, pen and pathfinder capabilitie

Photoshop - high quality retouching, clipping paths, colour
correction, working with smart objects, understanding layer

Acrobat Pro - controlling file sizes and colour management,
interactivity, production checks, font management

You need to have

· Thorough understanding of repro, production and printing processes.

· Experience of using and understanding brand / corporate guidelines, ensuring all artwork complies.

· A keen eye for detail and good typography skills.

· Good file management and organisation essential.

General requirements

Ability to create Photoshop and InDesign compositions based on scamps / briefs from Creative Directors and Designers.

Good knowledge of design principles for brochures, catalogues, advertising, point of purchase and exhibitions.

General software and production trouble-shooting.

Digital experience is an advantage.

Managing production timelines and client services teams’ expectations.

Adaptability - working for multiple client services teams with
diverse client requirements.

Microsoft Office - General understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
